A Will for Animal Welfare
Helping beyond your own lifetime
By including animal welfare in your will, you can support our dogs and cats in Tenerife even beyond your own lifetime. For many people, it is comforting to know that part of their estate will later help animals in need.
Our Arche depends entirely on support and receives no government funding. In addition to donations, sponsorships and membership fees, inheritances and legacies can also help secure our shelter, our sanctuary, medical care, food and neutering in the long term.
A will provides clarity. It sets out what should happen to your assets, who should benefit and who can care for an existing pet if necessary. Without a will or inheritance agreement, the statutory rules of succession apply.
If you would like to include our Arche in your will, you are supporting an animal welfare association recognised as non-profit and particularly worthy of support. Gifts to tax-privileged charitable organisations may receive favourable inheritance or gift tax treatment, helping your support reach where it is needed: our dogs and cats in Tenerife.
